about Sama Street

A group of childhood friends, inspired by their travels through Asia, dreamed of bringing the region's rich flavors and culture to Brooklyn. And that's exactly what they did. Sama Street is their love letter to Asia, a place where you can savor exotic cocktails and delicious bites.

final thoughts

After dinner, my partner, brother, and I decided to stop by Sama Street for a quick round of cocktails and fries.

However, we ended up loving the vibe, the friendliness of the bartenders, and the cocktails themselves, so we ordered another round!

I really enjoyed Sama Street; it’s probably the most memorable cocktail bar in Greenpoint, offering a perfect Asian twist on cocktails.

I usually don’t gravitate towards Asian fusion spots, but this one was fantastic! I recommend it to anyone looking to grab a drink with their partner, date, or friends.

If you plan to visit on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, I recommend making a reservation since tables and lounge chairs require one.

You can walk in, but you’ll likely be seated in the bar area, which isn’t a bad option if there are spots available.

Tables tend to book up quickly, so make your reservations FAST!
