Kismet Beach at Fire Island
I'll never forget my first visit to Fire Island when my friend Nik (thanks, girly!) introduced me to its beautiful beaches and laid-back atmosphere. Even though we only scratched the surface with a short exploration of the Sunken Forest, I left wanting more. That's why I've been looking forward to returning and exploring more of what Fire Island has to offer.
Enter Kismet Beach, a stunning beach located in the town of Kismet on Fire Island. Unlike its popular neighbors like Cherry Grove, Kismet Beach is more low-key and family-friendly, providing a peaceful and private beach experience without the large crowds. It's an ideal getaway from New York City during the summer.
In this guide, I'll be giving you an overview of what you can do at Kismet Beach along with some helpful tips - I got you! So grab your sunscreen and beach towel, and let's get started!
