Taiwan's famous skyscraper. As the tallest building in Taiwan, Taipei 101 is more than just a building — it's an iconic landmark loved by every traveler. With a total of 101 floors, the view from the top is absolutely stunning.

In 2011, Taipei 101 got a Platinum Certificate for using energy efficiently and being environmentally friendly. This made this admirable landmark a top-notch building and the biggest and tallest green building in the world.

The brilliant architects, C.Y. Lee and C.P. Wang, combined traditional Asian style with modern design in Taipei 101. Their creation not only looks beautiful but also includes features to make sure it stays strong during earthquakes and tropical storms like typhoons.

The basic ticket gets you access to the 89th floor for great views of Taipei's skyline. But if you want the best experience, you need to purchase a different ticket for the 101st floor observation deck. Just remember, the first elevator ride goes to the 89th floor, and then you'll need to take another elevator to reach the 101st floor!

For a seamless experience, we purchased our tickets prior through Klook and got the 89F + 101F Observatory Ticket. One great thing about buying online was being able to show our tickets on our phone and get them printed at the counter, skipping the line for purchasing tickets.

On the 88th to 101st floors, you'll find the best part of your adventure: the observation deck. Here, you can enjoy gift shops, a deck with a 360-degree city view, and an outdoor area to take in the amazing scenery while breathing in the fresh air.

While these experiences may be a bit pricey, the memories made at Taipei 101 are truly priceless.
