Getting to Con Dao

• FLIGHT

  Direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) to Con Dao Airport (VCS) in around 50 minutes

• FERRY

  A 3-hour ferry from Vung Tau City is a more budget-friendly option

Getting to The Secret

• HOTEL SHUTTLE

  The Secret offers a shuttle service (~10-15 min from the airport). You must reserve before you get to Con Dao Airport.

  You can also request one to get to the airport — which is what we did.

• TAXI

   If you didn’t reserve an airport shuttle pickup at The Secret, there are two taxi companies that operate outside the airport for a quick ride.

The ambiance felt welcoming and refined when we stepped into the lobby. 

Check-in was pretty straightforward — you needed your regular documents like passport, ID, and credit card. And even though our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, the staff handled our luggage and even arranged a moped rental for us — perfect for exploring Con Dao.

A refreshing welcome drink was a nice touch, though be prepared — it’s super sour!
