2025 Travel Bucket List

Taipei Botanical Garden

The world is a massive playground filled with countries and cultures waiting to be explored. With 2024 wrapping up, it’s time to start brainstorming about next year’s adventures!

This list isn’t just for me — it’s meant to inspire you, too! Some of these spots might feel “basic” by travel standards (especially for those who are seasoned travelers), but I’ve yet to check them off my list, so I’m super excited to

Of course, our travel depends on life (and our senior pup who needs us by his side), but here’s to hoping 2025 is full of unforgettable experiences.

Alohomora! Let’s unlock some magic at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Whether it’s riding thrilling coasters, exploring Hogwarts Castle, or sipping on a butterbeer, this immersive experience has been on my radar for ages. Universal Studios is packed with attractions, but my goal is to soak up every magical detail.

Aleli Cottages in Culebra

Culebra, Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico’s little islands, Culebra and Culebrita, are absolute gems. Imagine clear blue waters, snorkeling with adorable fish, and relaxing on pristine white sand beaches.

Last time, we stayed at the cozy Aleli Cottages, which added to the charm. I’d love to revisit these peaceful spots and relive the beauty of their untouched nature!

PHOTORaphael Nogueira

Brazil

Did you know that Brazil is the 5th largest country in the world?

It wasn’t on my bucket list until recently when I met some super cool and nice Brazilians who rave about their incredible food, breathtaking beaches, and vibrant culture (with a dash of caution). I’m all in!

Mexico

My partner, Gabriel, is half Mexican, and it’s crazy that neither of us has been to Mexico yet! We’re planning a short trip to explore his heritage and experience the country’s rich culture, delicious food, and stunning scenery. Maybe 2025 will finally be the year!

Greece

Greece is a summer paradise. While Santorini and Mykonos are stunning, I’m drawn to the quieter, lesser-known islands for a more relaxed vibe. Think turquoise waters, white-washed villages, and Mediterranean sunsets without the chaos of tourist crowds.

Greece has been on my bucket list for years, and I hope I can make it in 2025!

a relaxing girls’ trip to Asia

One of my biggest wishes for 2025 is a family girls’ trip to Asia — maybe somewhere beachy and serene or out in the forest with trees and wildlife.

I can just imagine lounging by the water, sipping piña coladas or some type of cocktail lol, relaxing in spa treatments, and soaking up quality time together. My partner, Gabe, and I recently visited Da Nang’s TIA, which would be the perfect spot to recreate that peaceful vibe.

Fingers crossed, we can make it happen!

Côn Đảo

Vietnam

Vietnam stole my heart in 2024, and I can’t wait to go back again!

From Saigon’s busy and hectic streets to Côn Đảo’s serene yet haunted setting, every spot left an everlastying impression. November’s somewhat “cooler” weather makes it the best time to explore these beautiful places again, and I highly recommend them if you’re planning a trip in 2025!

celebrate the holidays in Taiwan

The last time I celebrated the holidays and the New Year in Taiwan was years ago, probably before I became a college student. Taiwan’s festive chaos—holiday markets, amazing food, and family traditions—makes it an unforgettable place to end the year. However, airplane tickets to Taiwan are usually quite expensive during this time of the year since many people are traveling to celebrate the holidays, New Year, and Chinese New Year (also known as Lunar New Year).

I’ve suggested to Gabe that we should celebrate the holidays and New Year in Taiwan so he can experience how hectic and busy it is and enjoy the nice cool weather. I would love to end the year and start the new year in Taiwan with my parents and family!
