I've had the pleasure of dining at Sunday in Brooklyn twice, each time in a different season, and let me tell you, each experience was amazing. The first time was during summer when we had our meal outdoors with our 14-year-old Corgi, Treasure. The other time, we cozied up indoors during the winter, escaping New York’s brisk winter while keeping warm in the restaurant.

Location & Ambiance
Located a couple blocks away from Domino Park in Williamsburg, Sunday in Brooklyn always seem like they’re busy no matter what. From the moment you arrive, you'll notice the vibrant energy that permeates the air — it's clear that this place is a local favorite.
Our first time visiting, we made reservations to make sure we got a spot and I highly recommend you do the same — especially during the weekend when spots are limited!
During our outdoor dining experience, reminiscent of New York's sidewalk dining during COVID, I noticed the outdoor dining was similar to that. With fans gently whirring overhead and heaters for winter, it was the perfect place to enjoy our meal outdoors — especially with our beloved pup, Treasure.
Our second time visiting, we dined inside during the winter and the interior just makes you feel right at home. Cozy and welcoming.

(Summer) Outdoor Dining
Don’t worry about the heat during the summer. There are fans above making sure you stay cool and comfy throughout your meal. It was such a thoughtful touch that added to the dining experience.
Even though we were sitting outdoors, the atmosphere was incredibly cozy.
Of course, our decision to dine outside was because we had Treasure by our side. Following New York’s dining regulations, we enjoyed our meal with other people who decided to enjoy the outdoor vibes as well. Even though it was busy, there was plenty of space for others to sit, making sure people could enjoy their meals without feeling too crowded or overwhelmed.

(Winter) Indoor Dining
Stepping into Sunday in Brooklyn during the winter felt like entering a cozy home.
The interior had this cute warmth and charm, with its inviting ambiance reminiscent of a welcoming home. We were greeted by a long cocktail bar, perfect for evening time when you decide to relax with a drink or two.
During our visit in December, the restaurant had cute Christmas decorations, adding an extra touch of festive cheer to the cozy atmosphere.

Food + Drinks
As our dishes arrived, the first thing that came to my mind was the generous portions — definitely big enough to share if you feel like it. And the food presentation? Absolutely on point.
One of the highlights for me was their Matcha. I’m very particular with my matcha and they just had it on point. Drinking cold matcha during the summer and hot during the winter, it was just perfect. What’s even better is that they have the option to adjust your sweetness by giving you the sweetener on the side — just another thoughtful touch that elevates the experience.
Now, if you're a fan of savory brunch options, you can't go wrong with their Cheddar Scramble. You can have either bacon, sausage, or avocado inside. I chose avocado 🥑. And let's not forget about the side of fries — because who doesn't love fries?

The fact that they're pet-friendly and even provided Treasure with his own water bowl speaks volumes about their thoughtful approach to customer service.
