When my partner mentioned that he discovered Ey-Val, a Persian restaurant in Brooklyn, I was thrilled! As a huge fan of Persian cuisine, I used to drive all the way to a restaurant near my parent's house in California just to enjoy their incredible salmon kebabs. So, you can imagine my excitement when Gabe found a Persian restaurant in our neighborhood!
Even with New York's diverse food scene, Persian restaurants are surprisingly scarce. I have often wondered why that is the case. However, when we learned about Ey-Val, I knew we had to experience it for ourselves!

Dimmed, golden light casts a warm glow, creating an intimate and inviting atmosphere that instantly transports you away from Brooklyn.
The restaurant's decor has a unique character, especially at night when mesmerizing visuals dance on the screen projector, creating a laid-back, cinematic ambiance.
It's the perfect spot to unwind, connect with friends, and enjoy the moment, whether dining alone or looking for a pre-dinner drink.
The stylish bar area offers a welcoming space to relax and soak in the vibrant atmosphere.
The attentive and knowledgeable staff at EyVal elevate the dining experience to new heights.

Their spot-on recommendations helped us navigate the delicious array of Persian dishes.
From the delicious-smelling kebabs to the delicious and fragrant rice creations. My personal favorite? The Octopus Kebab — is so full of flavors and brings me back to when I used to eat kebabs all the time.

Whipped Feta Spread + Barbari Bread
The Whipped Feta Spread was rich, creamy and had a lemony taste. It paired perfectly with the Barbari bread.
The Barbari bread itself had the perfect crunch!
Salmon Kabob
Spicy, tangy, and floral-ish taste! I love the sauce and the spices.
Octopus Kabob
Still my all-time favorite!
Tangy, spicy that hits the back of your throat, with a hint of lemony taste!
