Jeans Jeans Jeans is the perfect spot for denim enthusiasts. Located in Montreal, this small business offers a wide variety of brands, including raw denim, as well as outerwear, tops, and other pants options.

My partner and I were searching for the perfect pair of raw denim jeans for him.

what’s raw denim?

If you’re unfamiliar with raw denim, it is denim that has not been washed or treated and is ready for sale immediately after being cut and sewn. Unlike regular jeans, which require frequent washing and distressing, raw denim maintains a pure color and only needs to be washed every 2 to 6 months, allowing natural fades to develop over time with wear. This type of denim is more sustainable since it requires less washing than regular jeans, which can consume significant amounts of water during production. Although washing raw denim may release some blue dye that can have an environmental impact, it still utilizes less water overall.

When we arrived at Jeans Jeans Jeans, we were initially overwhelmed by the vast selection of jeans on display. Thankfully, we were greeted by the co-owner, who was incredibly helpful in finding my partner's perfect pair of raw denim jeans. He explained the different brands and weights of raw denim available, ranging from 11 oz, which is softer and thinner, to 24 oz, which is thicker and stiffer.

My partner tried on several fits and finally decided on two pairs: one in 11 oz and another in 12.5 oz, both of which fit him perfectly.

While my partner was trying on jeans, I took the opportunity to browse the store and decided to purchase some black cargo pants. The staff was not only friendly but also had a dog roaming the store, which added to the welcoming atmosphere.

The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about their products. Additionally, they offer hemming services in-store, which is a convenient option for those looking to get their jeans tailored.
