This movie theater not only offers a huge selection of restaurants, snacks, desserts, and shopping — but it also has another small movie theater! One is the immersive Dolby Atmos theater, and the other, a more intimate Tempur theater that has movies playing every couple of hours.

When entering Wenxin Showtimes theater, head towards the elevators and go to the 7th floor.
When I first stepped out, my first reaction was definitely, “wow.”
The theater exuded opulence with its spacious layout adorned with cute white chandeliers. There’s even massage chairs to relax!

Getting the tickets is simple. You can choose to book online for convenience, or pick a showtime at the counter if you're feeling spontaneous.
If you decide to go to a movie without planning, you can check out the mall below that goes from the first floor to the sixth. There, you can enjoy different places to eat, snacks, and shops while you wait for your movie time!

Super spacious, with very clean seats, and with a ton of legroom so you won’t have to worry about kicking the person in front of you.
Say goodbye to the uncomfortable seats and constant shifting around!

audiovisual experience
The audiovisual experience was INCREDIBLE.
As the screen dims, the speakers transports it’s sound back and forth, creating a futuristic and immersive prelude. The audio quality was crisp and dynamic.
The visuals was equally impressive, with SHOWTIME proudly flaunting the largest screen in Taichung — standing at 15 meters high and 22 meters wide.
This 4K projection masterpiece guarantees a visual feast for your eyes promising to elevate your movie experience to new heights.

snacks + refreshment
And of course, every movie theater provides snacks!
My top recommendation is the caramel popcorn! A bit salty, a bit sweet.
If you can’t finish your popcorn, they have a trash bin for your leftover popcorn that you can throw into for compost!

the stylish bathroom
Last but not least, I love a bathroom appreciation — but their bathrooms are so nice.
Japanese TOTO heated bidets — a little warmth for your toosh, an elevated stand for your bags and modern sink.
There’s even cute chairs on the side for you if you’re waiting for your friends at the bathroom!
