Hey! Welcome to my August recap. This month was filled with gratifying moments, personal growth, and a touch of chaos.

grateful moments
Catching up with friends
Iβve been so busy the past couple of months because of our hectic moving process, I havenβt gotten the chance to catch up with any of my friends.
This month Iβm so grateful that Iβve caught up with the people who I cared about. It was nice to reconnect with old friends and catch up on life.
Home sweet home
Our balcony is finally complete! We've created a cozy outdoor space to relax and enjoy the fresh air.
Weβve hung the last two artworks that was chilling on the ground, organized our home to set everything in place, and we finally got our couch today! Weβre finally feeling more at home. π₯Ή
Babysitting Chowder
Babysitting Chowder, our friend Brianβs adorable kitten, was such a fun experience.
Even though Treasure got a little jealous, Iβm still grateful that we got to spend time with Chowder.
Treasure
Iβm grateful for my old man, Treasure. He's 14 years old and still brings so much joy to my life.
I love my son! π₯Ή

challenges
Learning to listen
I've been working on improving my listening skills, especially when I'm feeling upset. It's a challenge, but itβs also a work in progress.

goals for September
Prioritize self care
I'm focusing on my mental health and well-being. I'm working on challenging my negative thoughts, setting boundaries for myself and others, and practicing self-love.
Focus on myself
I'm going to stop caring about what others think and focus on my goals, career, and personal growth.
