Zig Zag: sipping cocktails and enjoying unique Tiki vibes in Bedstuy
I have this thing for Tiki bars, and yes, I'm that person who can't resist a good PiΓ±a Colada! When Gabriel told me he discovered a Tiki bar in Bedstuy, I was so excited to go with him and Treasure (our furry 13 year old baby). We've hit up Zig Zag Bar twice now, and let me tell you, both times were a amazing!

setting the scene
When we first walked up to Zig Zag in the afternoon, I was a bit surprised. From the outside, it didn't scream "bar" β more like a colorful hangout spot β which I guess that technically can just be bar vibes right? π
There were neon lights, with streetside seating that was decked out with vibrant chairs and tables, fun pictures on the walls that added to the lively ambiance.
I loved the playfulness with their decor!

the atmosphere
Zig Zag had me at "hello." No kidding, we even came back for round two with another one of our friends in the evening at another day β it was THAT good.
Our friends enjoyed being there, we enjoyed being there. Zig Zag just had this chill, laid back energy in the afternoon and lively vibes in the evening with colorful neon lights that makes the bar glow. The transition is just magical!

Zig Zag Bar was like a tropical treasure trove for cocktail lovers like me. I mean, seriously, their Tiki-inspired drinks were a sight to behold.
Their cups for serving cocktails were absolute mood-setters. Imagine sipping from a shark-shaped cup or a Tiki head β talk about getting into the island groove.
My top picks would be the Frozen PiΓ±a Colada and the Banana Mama!

final thoughts
Both times Iβve visited Zig Zag were amazing. Hanging out with friends, enjoying the ambiance, and sipping on those incredible cocktails. The energy at Zig Zag Bar just screams "be chill and enjoy." πΏ
I couldn't help but think that sometimes, all you need is a funky Tiki bar to remind you to live in the moment and have a great time.
